Rabat – Voter turnout in Morocco’s parliamentary elections stood at 34% by 5:00 pm the Interior Ministry said.
The turnout rate provided is based on reports by prefectures and provinces across Morocco.
Polling stations opened at 08:00 am and are due to close at 07:00 pm, the Ministry said in a statement.
Over 13.4 million Moroccans are eligible to vote for the 395-seat parliament.
