The first Arabian Gulf-African decision-makers’ forum is being held in Marrakesh, Morocco.
Decision makers and businessmen from more than 28 countries from the Arab Gulf and Africa took part in the event.
The two-day event aims at pinpointing investment opportunities in the two areas and enhancing partnership relations between the Arabian Gulf and Africa in a number of fields.
The forum is organised by the Moroccan Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development and a UAE company specialised in exhibitions and conferences.
GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs Khalifa Al-Abri led the GCC delegation to the forum.
In his statement, Al-Abri thanked King Mohammed VI of Morocco for patronising the forum, hailing his interest in boosting GCC-African relations.
He also conveyed greetings from GCC Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, to King Mohammed VI, as well as his wishes of success for the forum.
