Morocco-based OCP Group has collaborated with IBM to provide digital and IT services in sectors ranging from agriculture to industry throughout Africa, reports ITWeb. OCP produces phosphates and fertiliser, serving customers around the globe. The joint venture is called TEAL Technology Services and will support OCP to accelerate digital transformation.
Through TEAL Technology Services, IBM says it will provide companies in South Africa and elsewhere on the continent with services such as analytics, cognitive and Internet of things (IOT). The venture will take advantage of OCP and IBM expertise to supply tailored services. IBM and OCP will also provide education, social and research and development programmes.
