Morocco Condemns Terror Attack In Mali’s Kidal

Morocco has unequivocally condemned Friday’s terrorist attack in Kidal which claimed the lives of three Malian soldiers and six Guinean peacekeepers under MINUSMA.

Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement offered the kingdom’s commiseration to the families of the victims and expressed solidarity with the Malian and Guinean people and the authorities of both countries.

Six Guinean and three Malian peacekeepers were killed in northern Mali in two separate attacks on Friday.

The Malian jihadist group, Ansar Dine claimed responsibility for one of the attacks.

Guinean leader, Alpha Conde declared three days of national mourning beginning on Sunday.
