Moroccan Deputy Interior Minister Charki Draiss on Wednesday (January 14th) praised the level of security co-operation with Spain, describing it as a perfect example of partnership, MAP reported.

Speaking at the first session of the third Spanish-Moroccan parliamentary forum in Rabat, Draiss noted that new information exchange mechanisms between intelligence services had resulted in the dismantling of several terror recruitment networks.

Spanish participants in the forum highlighted the need to strengthen judicial co-operation by updating and implementing agreements on fighting extremism, organised crime, illegal immigration and drug trafficking.
