Nouakchott – Morocco’s drinking water utility (ONEP), Mauritanian water company (SNDE) and Spanish international cooperation agency signed, on Sunday in Nouakchott, an agreement to implement a cooperation strategy on drinking water management in Mauritania.
Under the agreement, the ONEP is committed to support the SNDE in all its projects and to provide the necessary technical assistance in order to improve the access and quality of drinking water in Mauritania.
On its part, the Spanish agency will fund SNDE’s projects for general access to drinking water and sanitation in Mauritania.
