Cooperation prospects between Morocco and Kazakhstan are “very promising”, given the economic potential of the two countries and their willingness to further develop bilateral ties, Kazakh newspaper Nour wrote on Wednesday.
“The strategic positions of both Morocco and Kazakhstan can be an important basis for reinforcing bilateral relations as well as multilateral cooperation at the levels of Africa, Central Asia and in the Mediterranean,” the paper noted.
The paper highlighted the two countries’ willingness to promote their cooperation ties in various fields and to strengthen political consultations.
In this respect, the same source described a recent visit to Morocco by Kazakh Vice Foreign Minister as successful, saying that the two countries have promising potential for further fostering cooperation in key sectors and achieving economic complementarily.
The newspaper also reported that Kazakhstan “will shortly open a diplomatic representation in Morocco as part of concrete measures taken by the two countries to reinforce their brotherly relations.”
