Human Rights delegation meets in Morocco

Bahraini delegation led by Human Rights Affairs Minister Dr. Salah bin Ali Abdulrahman met with the inter-ministerial delegate in charge of human rights in the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Mahjoub Al-Hayba, in response to the invitation received from the Moroccan government to be familiar with the Moroccan experience in the field of human rights and to exchanging experiences in same field.

During the meeting, Dr. Abdulrahman commended the Moroccan experience in the human rights sector and historical cooperation relations between the two kingdoms.

He reviewed the development of the human rights system and its mechanisms, referring to the national consensus dialogue and the government’s keenness to make of it a successful experience. Adding this visit will lead to further cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of human rights to develop the human rights institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain and be benefited of the successful Moroccan experience .

On his part, the Moroccan side praised political, human rights and development bold reforms in the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming bilateral fraternal relations and cooperation in all areas.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue communication, exchange experiences and coordination in all areas of human rights.
