Rabat – Moroccan tourism has recorded a “notable growth” in the first quarter of 2013, said on Thursday tourism minister, Lahcen Haddad.
The number of foreign tourists visiting Morocco grew by 8pc as at last March, compared to the same period of 2012 while the number of hotel nights increased by 19.2pc, with Marrakech recording a 32pc increase, he added in a presentation before the weekly cabinet meeting.
