Abu Dhabi, April 11 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Morocco have held discussions over bilateral relations and explored ways to strengthen it.
The talks were held as Moroccan agriculture minister Aziz Akhenouch visited Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s minister for culture, youth and community development, and UAE university chancellor and chairman of the board of trustees of the Khalifa International Date Palm Award.
The visit aims at reviewing the UAE achievements in palm dates cultivation, production and industries.
The visiting minister hailed the efforts the UAE exerts in the field of reproducing seedlings of the date palm trees, pointing to the importance of the Khalifa.
International Date Palm Award and its role in boosting cooperation avenues and coordination between the two countries.
The Moroccan ambassador to the UAE Mohammed Ayat Wa Ali was also present on this occasion.
