Washington – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expected this year a growth of 4.6 per cent in Morocco.
In its biannual forecast for the Middle-East and North Africa region (MENA), published on Tuesday in Washington, Bretton Woods institute noted that “the growth continues to increase” in Morocco thanks to the rise in the price of phosphates.
The IMF also expected growth in Egypt and Tunisia to fall by 2.5 to 4% compared to 2010 and a growth rate of 2.9% in Algeria in 2011.
