Madrid – Spanish Foreign Minister Trinidad Jiménez highlighted as “strategic” and “important” the bilateral relations between her country and Morocco.

The two Kingdoms maintain close relations based on “respect”, Jiménez said on Wednesday during a presentation on Spain¹s foreign policy at the Congress of Deputies.

She noted that the Spanish foreign policy led to strengthening relations with North African, Mediterranean and latin American countries.

In this respect, the Spanish official also stressed the importance of the UN-led Alliance of Civilizations Initiative.
