Morocco among countries that introduced significant reforms: UK Foreign Secretary

London – UK Foreign Secretary William Hague on Tuesday cited Morocco among Arab countries that have initiated significant reforms.

Hag.jpg“Governments in Jordan and Morocco (…) are introducing important reforms,” Hague told a conference organized by the daily “The Times on the situation of human rights in Iran.

Moreover, Hague said that Tunisia has made more progress on human rights in a matter of months than in the preceding decade, and highlighted the transition in Egypt.

The Foreign Office had recently said that Morocco and Jordan anticipated and responded to the aspirations of their peoples in an appropriate way.
