The King of Morocco has been in the UAE to discuss strengthening trade relations

The United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco discussed ways to further strengthen their multi-faceted bilateral relations during talks held this evening at Al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE side was headed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and the Moroccan side was headed by Omer Ozaiman, Advisor to the King of Morocco. Present were Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Dr Rashid Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs and a number of senior officials.

From the Moroccan side, the meeting was attended by advisors to the King of Morocco, including Zulekha Nasseri, Fouad Ali Al Himma and Yasir Al Zanaki. Also present were Saad-Eddine Al Othmani Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Nizar Baraka, Minister of Economy ‘&’ Finance, Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Aziz Rabbah, Minister of Equipment and Transport, El Hossein EL Ouardi, Minister of Health, and Fouad Douiri, Minister of Energy, Mines, Water, and Environment.

The two sides affirmed that relations between theUAE and Morocco have witnessed tremendous progress, thanks to the keenness of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Mohammed VI. They expressed satisfaction at the levels of bilateral relations and the desire to further strengthen them in all domains.
