HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani seeing off King Mohammed VI of Morocco at the airport yesterday

Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Saad Eddin al-Othmani stressed that the visit of Morocco’s King Mohammed VI to Qatar heading a Moroccan delegation was successful and achieved its objectives.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the Moroccan foreign minister noted the two countries’ historic and distinct relationship.
The objectives of the visit were achieved in connection with the various topics related to bilateral relations, he said.
In response to a question about the GCC decision to support development efforts in Morocco, the minister explained that $5bn has been allocated to support development projects over the next five years.
The Moroccan foreign minister said that the investment projects in his country are open, and the GCC’s decision to support development in Morocco will attract investments. He added that Morocco provides a suitable environment in terms of legality, administration, conducive investment climate, as well as in terms of political and economic relations.
Later yesterday HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani led well-wishers to see off King Mohammed VI and his accompanying delegation at Doha International Airport.
HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani was also present on the occasion.
