(ANSAmed) – Brussels, October 9 – New loan of the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Morocco: 130 million to finance the upgrading of OCP SA’s facilities. The loan will specifically finance the construction of two low-grade phosphate processing and enrichment plants in Khouribga and two more modern sulphuric acid production plants in Safi to replace the existing facilities.

EIB provides also 100 million euros for technology parks developed by MEDZ. These will foster innovation and business competitiveness.

MEDZ, a subsidiary of CDG De’veloppement, decided to launch seven technology park projects across the length and breadth of the Kingdom of Morocco.
