Niger Floods: Morocco Provides Humanitarian Aid To Affected Populations

Rabat – Upon instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, and as part of Morocco’s effective solidarity with the brotherly countries of the African continent, the Kingdom has dispatched humanitarian aid to the affected populations, victims of floods, in the Republic of Niger.

The aid, which consists of 45 tonnes of foodstuffs, was delivered on Sunday, a foreign-ministry statement said on Monday.

The floods have caused casualties, substantial material damage and the displacement of the stricken populations.
