RABAT, Oct 3 (KUNA) — Moroccan Foreign Minister Saad-Eddine Al-Othmani said that Morocco and Spain agreed on Wednesday to bring closer their viewpoints regarding disputed issues through “calm and continuous dialogue.” Al-Othmani described to reporters, after his meeting with Spanish counterpart Mariano Rajoy, relations between the two nations as “good” despite unsettled issues.

The Moroccan minister also stressed the importance of developing bilateral cooperation and deepening joint talks amid challenges facing the two countries and the region, particularly in the economic field in Europe, and security conditions in the Western Sahara.
Al-Othmani added that the upcoming high level official meeting between the two nations will be a great opportunity to boost development and cooperation amid signing of various joint agreements, including the cultural and education sectors.
The two sides are also keen on bolstering ties in the economic and investment fields, the minister added.
