Rabat — HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Honourary President of the Association for Human Development Hassanate presided, on Friday in Rabat, over the inauguration ceremony of the Internal Medicine Service at Ibn Sina hospital, after its rehabilitation.
The Princess visited the different areas of the service, which were renovated by the association, supported by benefactors and donors.
The service, which has an accommodation capacity of 52 beds, includes a room for echography examination, a room for exploration and an inpatient ward. The medical team consists of four professors, 15 resident physicians, 14 nurses and seven assistants.
Afterwards, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa followed a film about the rehabilitation of the service. The film also recounts the Princess-supported coaching experience, designed to improve reception conditions for both patients and visitors.
The Princess presided, later on, over the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement between the Ibn Sina Hospital and the association Hassanate. The agreement aims to continue redevelopment and upgrading works for other services.
Moreover, a cooperation agreement between the hospital and Vocational Training and Labour Promotion Office (OFPPT) was signed, aimed at continuing the project of humanizing reception and support for patients and visitors in the hospital.
The director of the Hospital handed the Princess the Patient Guide in the Internal Medicine Service. The Guide is an information tool meant for patients to enable them to get acquainted with their rights and duties, as well as the accommodation conditions in the hospital.
