CAMEROON- MOROCCO JOINT COMMISSION ENDS IN YAOUNDÉ

TOP OFFICIALS FROM THE GOVERNMENTS OF CAMEROON AND KINGDOM OF MOROCCO HAVE ENDED A THREE DAY FORUM ORGANISED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE SECOND CAMEROON-MOROCCO MIX COMMISSION.

Deliberations that were jointly presided by Cameroon’s Minister of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Bonjo and the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Saad Dine El Otmani were sanctioned by four agreements signed between the two countries. The agreements were on:

• Small and Medium sized Industries

• Development of handicrafts

• Prevention of tax evasion by enterprises

• Improvement of technical education

On the sidelines of the meeting in Yaoundé, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs was received in audience by Philemon Yang, Prime Minister and Head of government.

Talking to the press after the audience, he saluted successful cooperation between the two countries. Cooperation that has witnessed an increase in Moroccan investment in Cameroon most evident in the housing, industry, finance and banking domains.
