Rabat – Morocco has set the example in terms of stability and orderly reforms, said French President François Hollande, noting that the initiative taking and the choice of dialogue of HM King Mohammed VI has “kept Morocco on the path of openness and progress.”
The French head of state said in a congratulatory message on Morocco’s Throne Day that the past twelve months have been “tense” for Morocco, quoting the adoption of a new Constitution, organising “examplary” general elections and launching “ambitious” projects to meet the aspirations of the Moroccans.
“Morocco has successfully gone through this period of intense changes,” Hollande said, reiterating France’s willingness to back Morocco’s efforts in the reform process.
