Education Notes: Teachers travel to Morocco in World Affairs Council program

The World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth sent 10 North Texas educators to Morocco from July 7 through next Monday. The trip was sponsored by Ahmed Yanouri, president of Ad-Mar Properties and World Affairs Council director, and Rachad Bouhlal, Morocco’s ambassador to the U.S. The teachers are Tamara Haddad of Central Junior High in Euless, Karen Haley of Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Steven Howell of Berkner High in Richardson, Craig Pavlue of J.J. Pearce High in Richardson, Rosie Rojas of Birdville High in North Richland Hills, Emily Sherwood of Williams Preparatory in Dallas, Anna Sifford of Garland High, Beverly Smith of Lovejoy ISD, Nicole Vickerman of Clark High in Plano and Summer Wiese of North Mesquite High.
