Chedid Re participates in the 29th General Arab Insurance Federation in Morocco
Chedid Re is participating as Gold Sponsor at the GAIF 29th General Conference that is taking place at Marrakech-Morocco, between 21st and 23rd May 2012. It is held under the high patronage of his Majesty King Mohammed VI, the General Secretariat of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) and the members of the conference organizing committee.
Lebanon: Monday, June 11 – 2012The conference is expected to host around 1,500 participants from several Arab, European and African countries representing the highest levels in the regional and international Insurance and Reinsurance industry.
Habib Jaalouk, Treaty Division Director of Chedid Re stated that: “Chedid Re’s participation at GAIF is a great opportunity for us to connect with all of our regional clients and counter parts. We scheduled more than a 120 meetings for the 3 days. Again, Chedid Re is proving itself as a young dynamic player in the Regional reinsurance sector.”
The title for GAIF 2012 is «Insurance and the Arab World Reform». The event will be attended by distinguished members in the insurance and reinsurance industry sectors such as brokers, agents, third party administrators (TPA), loss adjustors, lawyers and insurance.
The seasoned speakers like Mr. Khalid Saoud Al-Hassan – Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director of Gulf Insurance Company – Kuwait, Mr. Abdul Raouf Qotb Head of the Insurance Federation of Egypt, Mr. Orlando Salvatore, – Head of the Insurance Federation of Egypt and more will discuss topics such as the Repercussions of the Arab Spring and its impact on the Arab insurance industry, Risk management in insurance and reinsurance companies enrich the conference by conducting in various discussion roundtables, speeches, presentations and interactive workshops. GAIF is an event is held every two years.
