MBRF grants books to Moroccan school

RABAT -The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, or MBRF, has donated more than 100 books to the Al-Fateh Elementary School in Rabat, Morocco.
The books which are among the publications of MBRF’s different programs were presented to the Moroccan ministry of education’s officials in a ceremony.
Adel Al Shared Vice Chairman/Managing Director said the initiative is among the Foundation’s goals of promoting education and knowledge in Arab countries.
He noted that targeted schools are selected by the foundation based on the results of the recently-launched second Arab Knowledge Report 2010/2011: “Preparing Future Generations for the Knowledge Society”.
MBRF was launched in 2007 with an endowment of US $10 billion, as a personal initiative of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice – President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The Foundation’s mission statement says it aims to develop the knowledge and human capabilities of the Arab World to introduce a future generation of regional leaders.
