The Selman Marrakech resort opened on May 1, with 61 rooms and suites, several with private gardens and heated pools (from $530 per night), situated on 15 acres at the base of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The resort has two restaurants, three bars, a pool, and stables for horseback riding. Its 12,000-square-foot spa features seven treatment rooms, four hydrotherapy rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, a hammam, sauna, gym, and Turkish bath. To entice visitors, the resort is offering a three-night spa package ($4,100 per couple) that includes several spa treatments, fitness sessions, and a meal plan through December, 2012.
