Marrakech – The fifth Middle-East North Africa Renewable Energy Conference (MENAREC 5), which will open on Tuesday in Marrakech, is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between countries of the region, Minister of Enegry, Mines, Water and Environment Fouad Douiri said.
Speaking late on Monday in a press briefing, the Moroccan official said that the two-day event is an occasion for the participants to exchange experiences in terms of renewable energy programmes between.
The Conference is held by the Ministry of of Enegry, Mines, Water and Environment in partnership with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
Over 500 participants, including decision-makers, experts and investors are expected to take part in the event.
