Khouribga international race: Kenyans stamp their authority

Kenyan athletes dominated the Khouribga international race in Morocco by winning both the men’s and ladies’ categories.

Daniel Salel won the 10km in 28 minutes and 7 seven seconds ahead of his compatriot Edwin Mocho who finished the race in 28 minutes and 7 seconds. The first Moroccan athlete finished third and it was no other person than Ahmed Béday who crossed the finish line 2 minutes and 26 seconds after Edwin Mocho.

In the ladies’ category, another Kenyan, Joan Chelimo won the race in 31minutes and 41 seconds. Her compatriot Winnie Jepkambwe finished two seconds after her in 31 minutes and 43 seconds.
Ethiopia’s Brehan Ababil completed the podium as she finished third in 31 minutes and 52 seconds.
