Company Now Ranked Among One Million Most Visited Websites

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2012

Internet start-up, 10KWEB, announces its Alexa Internet, Inc. ranking has risen to just over seven hundred-fifty nine thousand worldwide. This is an improvement from one-point-three million as reported in March 2011.

10KWEB Co-Founder, Anthony Martins, credits this increase in part to the heavy traffic and promotion in Morocco where the site is ranked among the top nine thousand sites frequented of that country, as well as in France where 10KWEB is ranked among the top one hundred, forty-two thousand websites, according to Alexa Internet, Inc. 10KWEB has been active in Morocco since early April and in France since mid-April. Martins went on to say, “This is very exciting for us. Especially since Morocco and France are so new to 10KWEB. It’s the enthusiasm of new members which keeps the momentum going. Without it, the company can’t grow and improve.”

Alexa Internet, Inc. is a subsidiary of Amazon.com. It collects and analyzes data on browsing behavior and uses that information as a basis for its Web traffic reporting. The company also uses the information to rank sites based on traffic from users. Rankings are usually based on three month’s worth of data.

10KWEB was created January 2012 by Anthony Martins and Thomas Bang as an online resource for aspiring blog writers and small business owners. Their website launched on March 5th, 2012 and is currently used in the United States, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China, Morocco, Italy and New Zealand with more markets in development.
