Morocco: Central Bank Issues Coin Worth 250 Dirhams Commemorative of HM the King’s Enthronement

Rabat — On the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI, Morocco’s central bank, Bank Al Maghrib, issued a commemorative coin worth 250 dirhams.

The coin is available at Bank Al Maghrib agencies for a selling price of 500 dirhams, the Bank said on Tuesday in a statement.

The obverse of the coin bears the image of the Sovereign as well as “Mohammed VI” and “the Kingdom of Morocco” struck in Arabic in addition to the dates “2011-1432”.

The 12th anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI was struck in Arabic and French in the reverse of the coin along with an image of the Royal Palace of Rabat, olive branches, the royal arms and the fiscal value in numbers and Arabic leters (250 dirhams).
