(ANSAmed) – MADRID, APRIL 20 – Around thirty Spanish businesses will attend the Moroccan international agriculture show (SIAM), which will be held between April 25 and 29 in the city of Meknès. The Spanish presence, which is coordinated by the Foreign Trade Institute, which has announced the news, will also feature the Spanish association Agragex, which represents the sector.
SIAM is organised by Morocco’s Ministry for Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries and by the International Agriculture Association. The government of the North African country has launched the Maroc Vert development plan, which is financed by the King Hassan II Trust, aimed at economic and social development and aimed at supporting the growth and development of the agricultural sector.
Meknès, an area with high potential for the production of grapes and olives, is considered an area of opportunity for Spanish agricultural, wine and oil companies. (ANSAmed).
