Islamabad—The Information Ministers of OIC countries meeting in Libreville, Gabon, tomorrow (Thursday), will finalize the recommendations of the experts for an OIC TV station.
In this connection a 10-state project committee comprising Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Gabon, Senegal, Nigeria, Morocco and Mauritania is being formed.The maiden meeting of the project committee is likely to be convned at the Jedda headquarters of the OIC in middle of June 2012. The OIC Secretary General Prof Ekmelddeddin Ihsanoglu is keen to have an OIC outlet.—AP
