Rabat – Moroccan minister of industry, trade, and new technologies, Abdelkader Amara, and his Libyan counterpart, Mahmoud Fetais, held talks, on Thursday in Rabat, on cooperation and partnership mechanisms to establish bilateral “industrial complementarity”.

Amara told MAP that the meeting examined different industrial issues towards reaching a certain level of “complementarity.”

“The Kingdom capitalized on a number of industrial activities, including aeronautics, auto industry, textile and food-processing industry, in which Libyans are interested,” he said.

The minister stressed that Morocco is willing to share its expertise in these areas with Libya.

Fetais praised the Kingdom’s industrial achievements, adding that his visit was an occasion to examine ways of setting up “an effective partnership likely to lay the groundwork for industrial complementarity between Libya and Morocco as well as among all the Maghreb countries.”
