Rabat – The turnover of Morocco’s railway operator, Office National des Chemins de Fer du Maroc (ONCF), grew 11% to 3.6 billion dirhams in 20011, the Office said in a statement.
Director General of the ONCF Mohamed Rabie Khlie pointed out, during the Office’ Board of Directors, that travelers using trains increased 10% to reach 34 million in 2011.
This performance, he said, is attributed to the improvement of services offered by the ONCF notably in terms of trains schedule, reduction of travel time and provision of comfort on board the train and in stations, the same source said.
