Bexley By Alan Woods

SIXTH-formers at a Bexley school are hosting a boot fair on Sunday to raise money for a ‘World Challenge’ expedition to Morocco.

The group of 11 youngsters, from The Business Academy Bexley in Yarnton Way, hope to travel to Morocco in May where they will help build a school and educate young people. In order to travel, each member of the group must raise £1,100.

The school’s head of the sixth form Will Pemberton said: “World Challenge is a fantastic initiative which offers young people experiences that may not otherwise be available to them.”

The boot fair is being held at the school in Yarnton Way, between 7:30am and 12:30pm, and entrance costs £1.

Sellers are welcome, with a pitch costing £10 for a car and £15 for a van.

World Challenge provides educational expeditions in the developing world which teach life skills and expand minds outside the classroom.
