Matteo Manassero looks the best bet of the favourites at 14/1 to win the 2012 Trophhe Hassan II event on the European Tour as nothing other than a victory is likely to be enough to seal his spot in the Masters next month.

All of the golfers positioned in the top 50 of the official world rankings will be sent a guaranteed invite to Augusta and Manassero is currently outside the cut off at 63.

However, he heads to Morocco in good form and narrowly missed out on victory in the latest European Tour event, when taking second spot behind Frenchman Julien Quesne.

Manassero began this tournament in perfect fashion when equalling the course record in the Andulucian Open, but he was unable to build on this start sufficiently.

Knowing that this is his last chance to make the Masters field as he did two years ago because of his position as British Amateur champion, Manassero will have the desire to go one better than last week.

Meanwhile, Manassero has previous when it comes to winning events co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Asian Tour, as he triumphed in the Maybank Malaysian Open last year.

Robert Rock finds himself in a similar position to the 18-year-old Italian heading to Agadir as he is another positioned on the cusp of the top 50 in the world rankings.

Rock has already outshone Tiger Woods in Abu Dhabi this season and could be worth considering again at 25/1 to claim victory and make a late charge towards the Masters.

One of the favourites it may pay to avoid from a betting perspective is Edoardo Molinari, who can be backed at 33/1.

Molinari finished 11th at the Andulucian Open, but has since admitted that he is being troubled by a wrist injury that will need surgery later in the year.

This is sure to hinder his performance in some way.
