Fez – The 45th General Conference the of Arab Universities Association opened on Tuesday in Fez, with the participation of some 180 members of this body, as well as observers representing different organizations of the Arab World.
The opening ceremony of the meeting was marked by a message from HM King Mohammed VI to the participants in this Conference, which was read by Abdelhak Lamrini, the Historiographer of the Kingdom.
The participants to this event, held under the High patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, will look into development initiatives to be undertaken at regional and international levels, as well as the various opportunities that could give substance to more innovative cooperation projects.
At the two-day meeting, organized jointly by the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University and the Association of Arab Universities, the participants will debate strategies and action plan of the Association and means likely to provide this body with a fund dedicated to scientific research at the level of the Arab world.
