Hawker Beechcraft has delivered its last four T-6C Texan II turboprop trainers from a 24-aircraft order for the Royal Moroccan Air Force.
Flown from the company’s Wichita site in Kansas on 10 January, the aircraft made stops in the USA, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, France and Portugal during their transfer to Marrakesh, including a one-week delay in Goose Bay, Canada because of bad weather.
Morocco is using its new T-6C fleet to prepare pilots to operate its air force’s incoming fleet of 24 Lockheed Martin F-16C/Ds.
