Morocco’s GDP Grows 4.9% in First Quarter, Government Says

(Bloomberg) – Morocco’s gross domestic product grew an annual 4.9 percent in the first quarter, accelerating from 2 percent the previous three months, the state statistics office in Rabat said today.

The North African kingdom’s economy, which depends on tourism for about 10 percent of GDP, grew 0.8 percent from the previous quarter.
