The week after announcing its intention to launch in the country in a trading update, as reported byrecruiter.co.uk, recruiter Michael Page has launched a Moroccan subsidiary, based in Casablanca.
Managing director of Michael Page Africa, Paul Mercier, says that the Moroccan economy’s near 5% annual growth was a strong part of the motivation to establish a 40-strong team there.
He adds: “In 2011, we experienced strong growth of 22% from our operations on the African continent.”
Michael Page has recruited candidates in 37 of Africa’s 54 states.
