The General Department of Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police recently foiled an attempt to smuggle 2.735kg of cocaine to Morocco.

The contraband was hidden cleverly inside three statues in the luggage of a Guinean national, M.K, travelling from Brazil to Morocco via Dubai. The X-ray scan of the bag showed the cocaine-filled statues. The authorities at the Morocco airport were immediately alerted and M.K was arrested on arrival at the airport. —news@khaleejtimes.com
